Cerrebral Assasin

I still don't understand why the Mladic/Karadzic partnership didn't take Sarajevo during the Bosnian war. If it were to be taken it would've won the war. To clense Srebrenca was a bad strategic move as it served no purpose for the Serb army. If the Serb leadership gave an amnesty for those citizens from Sarajevo 14 days to pack up and leave on U.N buses, I believe that most of the cities inhabitants would've left, leaving the Serb army to just walk in with little or no resistance. Trust me the Bosnian winter can be very cold and people would rather keep warm and have a belly full of food then fight for Alija and constantly scrounge for food on the streets. Why the Serbs didn't take Sarajevo is still the biggest mistery of the Bosnian war. I would like to hear peoples thoughts on this, and please don't give me the U.S didn't allow it....
