This could possibly be yet another mass grave perpetated by the Communists under Tito.Kocevje in Slovenia is one big example. Ex Yugoslavia is full of such pits. Many are still undiscovered. After the war and even during it some Communist partisans were liquidating all potential opposition. The majority of whom were ordinary people or labelled class enemies.

Recently I wrote, regarding the 'alleged' site at Raska: "This 'new' gravesite is by no means unique; sadly, in the former Yugoslavia, mass graves come with the territory."

I thought about that for some time -- was i just helping foster an awful though widespread stereotype? No, I decided, it's just the sad truth.

I don't know if this mass grave is a part of the "bleiburg" massacre ('45), but it will be interesting to make the connections, so many years later.

every mass grave needs to be located and exhumed, and the survivors have the right to recovers their loved ones' remains. i don't give a damn for their ethnicity or religion, or lack thereof -- that is other people's hang-ups and obsession, not mine.

mass graves from the 90s are ubiqitous, and many still hidden -- people know about their locales but there is not the political will to do something about it. so exhumations go piecemeal and torturously slow -- that is unforgivable and we all know exactly who is guilty. many of them continue to hold political power in the balkans, and are held up as respectable politicians.

if i lived over there, full time, i'm sure i would go slowly mad...

the site at raska, publicly revealed on may 10th, only became public after eulex heavily pressured the blgd regime. and they did that only after a number of independent witnesses came forward.
one soil sample was taken, near the site -- something like 8m down, with no chemical evidence detected.

and what the h-ll does that prove but nothing!

the site was covered with a building and parking lot facade. in order to exhume, that must be broken thru.

believe me about one thing -- i am not giving up unti that exhumation occurs. whatever it takes.

all the lies and threats, here or elsewhere, mean less than nothing to me.

thank you.

Killed? People are killed in combat. After WWII who was "killed" was in fact executed without trial (most of them). That was the case in Yugoslavia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece etc.

Nobody mentioned that those that were massacred were majority Croats fleeing Tito's Communists. Shame on Yugoslavia for allow it to happen. This will never be forgotten.
