You are very right Sir.
But the international community, (IC) is ready for the rage of the Albanians when ICJ verdict comes. You bet Sir. 1. Serbia and the IC have as you might know a signed letter of understanding to take soldiers through Serbia very quickly from Bosnia and Europe. 2. Bondsteel are ready with attack helicopters against the Albanians if they riot like in 2004. (There are a standing order in Kfor from May 2004 that they will engage with lethal fire against those who commit arson and are rioting.) 3. If the Albanians start riot again, it will show the world that ICJ was right. 4. Greece and Macedonia has quite an amount of Nato soldiers ready to respond.

The Albanians are behaving as hypocrites here. In the 1990s before the war broke out, the Albanians set up parallel institutions to counter the Yugoslav ones but Slobo to his credit just simply ignored them. When that didn't work, the KLA fascists started shooting postal workers, forestry officials, policemen and loyal Yugoslav citizens. Now when it seems that the Serbs are excersising their democratic rights, the Albanians throw a big hissy fit and resort to violence when things dont go their way.

KFOR better think twice about scaling down their numbers. When the verdict from the ICJ is revealed in the summer, there will be alot of angry Albanians.

Just another example that there will never be peace in Kosovo. Nothing stolen has given any good to anyone. Kosovo is a failing method, which after 2 years still struggles to be recognized as a world member, hopefully this will have no impact on relations between EU and the rest of the Balkans.

Wow, EA, you really want to build and live in a prison like the one you are suggesting. How about Albanians mind their own business on their territories, and the Serbs take care of their territories? Wouldn't that be really democratic, and put and end to some this harmful nationalistic sewage? Why would Albanians want to control the Serbs and their land, anyway?

Pejoni

KFOR didnt do much, actually they came late, it was Kosovo Police who stopped the Albanian protestors while EULEX officers as usual didnt dare to stopp the Serbian protestors until they approched KP who responded by using tear gas and ROSU operatives started arriving then the Serbian protestors started running back to their side. All kudos to KP officers who acted professional.

The Kosovo Albanians might as well leave it all. I mean come on, EVERYTHING go against them the last 2 years. ICJ is coming up, Kosovo is full of corrupt politicians and leaders that dont give a damn about the people, criminality is boiling over, about 90% of Kfor soldiers, Eulex personell and Unmik personell is against independence (ask them yourself), they have zero control in the 30% of the northern part and also in 5-10% in the southern different parts etc etc. They are stuck there because nomatter what, they will never ever be a part of EU. Also, their politicians are fooling them that they will have visas in the future. HEY, Europe are sending back about 200 Albanians voluntarily AND forcefully every month !! Cant you see with your eyes or maybe you dont want to see.

Serbia will be responsible for this mess, this is a sign that pandora box is being opened and serbs be ready to face the consequences. You've just violated the sovereignty of an independent country. Planing military invasion anytime soon?. Hope it doesn't come to another operation "Allied Force". Some people never learn from mistakes do they?. Have a nice day from a strong supporter of independent Kosovo. Justice will prevail.

another milestone to show that the North will never ever fall in the grabby tentacles of the Kosovo Albanians. And another indicator that the north will be split off. You had the majority south and blackmailed your independence now let those people in the North in peace, they want nothing to do with you, give it up already.

I think Serbia is doing very well disturbing the peace in Kosovo. There is a way forward. EULEX and Kosovo/a's authorities should try different way how to establish the full authority in Kosovo/a. First Sealing Kosovo/a's borders with Serbia, controlling all movements of how is coming in and leaving Kosovo/a that includes travelling documents, have the non-Kosovo/a's residents have premission to be entering in Kosovo/a have and for Kosovo'a residents they must have Kosovo/a's travel document to be able to come in and out of Kosovo/a. That is to start with.

What is so hard to understand? Serbs voted in their local Serbian elections and then went to protect their physical rights against invading invading albanian trolls which came from underneath the bridge. Like Billy's Goats Gruff....trolls live under bridges and needed to be knocked off like a rented mule. Harmless fun!

Further evidence, if any were needed, of the success of the internationals way of handling Kosovo...

The irony in all of this is that roles have been reversed. In the 90's Albanians were holding elections, Serbs decreed them as illegal, but did not stop them.

And we all know what happened in the end.

I can just see next weeks report from the Feith titled - "Progress in Kosovo". However, the truth eventually surfaces and if you ask me, it seems this "Kosova" plan is beginning to destabilise the region. Returnee's attacked, graves desecrated (continuation), power cuts, vandalism of mobile phone infrastructure and we are even getting weapons transfered to FYROM. It won't be long before this gets out of hand. This is what happens when power is handed over to incompetent criminals/terrorists.

Serbs want nothing to do with Albanians, just like the Albanians wanted nothing to do with Serbs. Why is that hard to understand? Let people live in peace, and stop trying to control someone who opposes you. I say, let the Serbs have their elections, and the albanians theirs. Obviously, multi-ethnicity in this region will not work, and trying to impose it is a recipe for disaster.

The Albanians moved towards the bridge later, where local Serbs were gathering.

Stones and rocks started flying from each side shortly after. There are still several thousand Serbs and Albanians on each side of the bridge.

ok, lets get this tory straight. if local serbs north of ibar were concentrating on voting for mickey mouse, why worry who is protesting south of ibar, knowing that KFOR will not allow any violence?
I assume voting is /was not so important, rather inciting violence and an incident is more important to serbs, right???
