RKS,

What do you propose to do with your own corrupt politicians? I recommend cutting off all donor money until you all figure a way of accounting for every penny. Maybe when you don't have any money to build roads and infrastructure with, you will see the reason behind the EULEX mission. Supervised Independence meant you weren't capable of unconditional independence. I think supervised independence is a contradiction in terms and should have never been considered.

If I had to puck sides in a Greece versus Albania match up of armies, Greece would have my vote hands down. I've seen the Albanian army in the EUFOR mission in Bosnia. They look more like reservists than actual soldiers.

A few bad mistakes by some EULEX members does not make all Romanians bad. And the UNMIK police officers were issued those bullets that were found to be outdated. If I had to judge the Kosovo Albanians based on the actions of a few, I would say they were the worst. How many have I seen sent out the gate for stealing from the US Army at Bondsteel and at the old Monteith. There is no question about that when all of the Albanians are searched when they go home to make sure that they aren't stealing everything they can.

Romania as a country holds no regional influence, it would be great to have their recognition as a number in the lot but it's understandable they have their own internal issues they have to deal with.

I'm just confused if the MF of Romania wasn't in Kosovo to meet with Zannier, then is Zannier using UN budget to fly to regional countries to get support for his power aka "status neutral"?

It's time for nonMIK to pack and go home, I'm sick and tired of these corrupt punks. NonMIK is the reason why there is no ethnic harmony, in 2008 they even contributed to inter-ethnic incidents just so they would have a job. DISGUSTING!!

At least they didn't crumble like the Bulgarians did.

I do wonder who those romanian peace keepers bought the cigarettes and alcohol from?

Not that you are going to leave Kosova but Qameria as well.
(Mitrovica, 30 April 2010 18:56)

What is Qameria?? I only know one more Greek region occupied by Albania - that is Northern Epirus. And that will be returned to Greece one day too. Or will be just taken back by Greece... that is much more probable even than Kosovo return...

What possible interests does Greece have in Kosovo, you wanna play peacekeepers, go take a ride to A-stan! And for your information, most of the KFOR Greek soldiers are stationed in Camp Bondsteel, surrounded by Albanian villages.

"He also stressed that Romania supports the Western Balkan countries on their path towards the EU."

Is he also supporting Serbia on its path towards EU?

He knows very well that Serbia won't make it into EU without K-recognition. But apparently everyone looks at its own problems first, including Romania.

Greek soldiers are in Kosovo, to protect the Greek interests in the area and to protect the native citizens of Kosovo - the Serbs. Nobody asks the occupier Albanians if they like it or not. Greek soldiers will simply remain in Kosovo as much as they like.... or probably until Kosovo is returned to it's rightful owners. The Serbs.

Montenegro once again said they would never recognize Kosovo as part of Serbia, Croatia said the same, as did Slovenia and even Macedonia. Seriously, is this news? Shouldnt it be when they actually change their stance and become worth mentions? Dry newsday B92?

...this takes the price!

"Romania has been providing plenty of help for the peace missions in Kosovo. There are 140 Romanian soldiers in NATO's KFOR, 193 police officers and civilians in EULEX and two officers are part of UNMIK."

Haha providing help!? Beside killing two unarmed protesters and smuggling tobacco and alcohol yeah they have been much help, thank you so much! Save face and do as Spanish soldiers, leave the place, you are not welcome! And take Greek soldiers with you, they too need to save funds. Leave the professional work to Germans who actually contribute to Kosovo unlike many other garbage that followed in 1999.

ZagorTeNeJ

He forgot to mention the Romanian EULEX staff, which were caught smuggling alcohol and cigarettes in the Kosovo - Macedonia border! And also his murdering scum policeman, that killed two Albanian youths in the Vetvendosja demonstrations. Kosovo is to seek justice in a large scale against this nation!
