Serbia to get Cyrillic internet domain name

You think a cyrillic domain defines Serbia as a nation? If you do you are out of your mind. What does define a nation is how it behaves, how successful it and its people are. The way albanians behave in Kosovo, destroying churches, cemetaries and threatening people who don't agree with them, just shows that you belong to a very dark era in human history, the middle ages.

Ћирилица is all what we need.
And ДОТ on it.

Sounds for me like an EU-sponsored job of a guy who is busy translating Serbian into Croatian and earning good money.

As Samuel Huntington showed in one of his maps, with this (Cyrillic domain) you really showed that Serbia belongs to the Eastern civilization. Only Latin is common for Europe, while Arabic, Cyrillic, Persian and Chinese are features of different civilizations, except Western European ones.

I would vote for ".срб" because
1) everyone will know, what it is for
2) the translit-dot-ru "knows" only the "core" letters. Serbian cyrillic keyboard is difficult to get, many people use simply Croatian instead or plain US-American and "transliterate".

Now - ".срб" is much more easier to "transliterate" for everyone, including the "few" souls in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Ukraina, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia. That's some few hundred million people.

If Serbs would choose a, say, ".ђћџ" domain than the "rest of us" would scramble to transliterate that properly.

In my childhood I wanted to be a dustman.It seemed so cool to stand at the back of those vans and collect dustbins.Now that we are EU members and that swedish company vica equiped us with those ugly dustbins I am happy to have a differnt job.
