"Austria supports Kosovo's EU perspective"

What can one say when one reads an article like this. Austria is an example of an extremely soar loser that lacks the ability for even the simplest of logic. The EU's test called "Kosova" will fail miserably and it is the worst example of a test that should bring stability to a region of Europe that can be described as quite volatile and a region that outsiders still like to stir trouble in by the tactic of "conquer and divide". I understand that after Thaci's visit he had to say something like this. Austria has still not gotten rid of its imperial attitude and its desire to control an area where lots of people despise them and their policies. 65 years after their defeat as part of Nazi Germany Austria should be more modest in its attitude to Serbia and its people. Keep your nose out of the Balkans and mind your own business.

If Serbia allows this gentelman into their territory and Jeremic or Tadic meet with him with a smile on their face... it will show the mockery and idiocy of Serbian Gov't regarding Kosovo policy and diplomacy in general.

Just have a look at the difference between military budgets on the 2 sides...American one is at least three times bigger than those of SCO taken as a whole....

And of course, China-Russia relation can't be compared to the US-EU one since the latter is sustained by a common history, a common culture, common political and economic systems and values.
There's nothing like that between Russia and China. For China, Russia has just been a mean to acquire modern arms which it now produces locally...after having copied them lol
And of course, Russia is economically not even a junior partner for Russia in comparison to US/EU since it produces nothing but gas...

I was almost only going to reply by writing "whatever", but I am not. What country are you from if I may ask? Did I write that Russia should be in The Balkans? I do not think so. Austria should look at its historical role at The Balkans and wisely decide to keep a low profile. One cannot stop a country from supporting certain other countries or groups and in many cases it is doing for its own benefit or to annoy a nemesis. I also do not know why you brought in Slovakia for I did not mention that country at all. Just hope whatever you want and say whatever you please. It looks from you final sentence that you are in the mood for more violence. The power distribution in the world is shifting and it is hard to say what things will look like six months, one year, five years, and so on from now. I just hope that Serbia will ride out these current storms and that the Serbian politicians will understand their responsibilities and that Serbia will stay neutral as much as possible and keep close to current allies and align itself with some other countries that have the best in mind for Serbia and its people. Many EU countries (including Austria) and the US should be avoided as much as possible. The can be seen as trading partners and maybe more later after the have changed their attitudes.

Milan first I will tell you I am American and French.

Now you are thinking why I do care about Serbia or Kosovo? I lived in Yugoslavia for 8years and I am involved in energy development of the region with my company as well with our charity in Serbia, Kosovo, Macedonia etc.

I have been through out the region and Speak both Serbian and Albanian had a very hard time learning Albanian its quiet difficult.

So i hope you get to know why I am interested in your region.

Now I do belive that its in Serbias best interest to join EU and most people I know in Serbia they are also interested for a better future, russia cant provide for its own people nor china so how can it help Serbia.

I know first hand how hard is for most of population in Serbia and Kosovo, and it is hard to fixed it where all are happy but I have learned that K-Albanians will leave the country if that was a possebility or fight and die.

I am sure you think fine let them go but this is not a solution you cant kick 1.8million to accommodate 180K.

I dont like war but if you as nationalists here want to join russia and cause another war I am for Nato since i have both my countries in it, and would like them to win since we already planing to sell some old Ships to Russia tells you we are in better shape. But I am not for war, but if serbia likes to go east go but you cant be opout friend as well it worked for Tito but it wont work for you.

So is Serbia. Admittedly it’s not a great lot of help, but it’s what it can afford and at least it’s something, but you don’t hear anything about in the western media which only talks about the west and no one else. In fact, both China and Russia have sent aid – as a matter of fact the Russians had medical teams in Haiti even before the US.

What good is their military budget when they are being thrashed by cave dwellers in Afghanistan? Where is their magnificent weaponry? I think you will find out that most of this huge budget is being consumed by corrupt activities for example in Iraq the US military pays $2 a gallon for gas when they could buy it from Kuwait for 20 cents.

I can’t remember the last time I purchased a shirt or shoes that said made in the EU (forget the fashion houses; how many can afford to pay $3000 for a pair of shoes). I can’t remember the last time I purchase a computer, parts or software that said made in the EU, but everything says MADE IN CHINA ………now tell me again what is made in the EU.
Russia is one country while the EU are many, but its fast expanding its industry and diversifying but its current unemployment is 9% while the US its 28%. See big difference.
