I cannot understand why any decent politician in the balkans would attempt to take his country into NATO unless of course these politicians are in CIAs payroll or are bullied by the US and EU.

NATO has no role to play at all in world security and exists for the sole reason of being a US mercenary and securing military hardware orders from its weak members which benefit US and EU arms manufacturers.

The sooner NATO folds the more secure the world would be.

So true Rote, but Russia should twist the ears off every Serbian politician who even thinks about joining NATO.
I agree with Russia 100%. Russian cannot be more Serbian than Serbs and if Serbs want to suffer from Stockholm syndrome then they deserve all they get.
We in the diaspora are supporting Serbia all the way but if they keep electing a bunch of sellouts then Russia should just wipe their hands off them as well as us.

You cannot save someone from themselves.
