As long as the electrical provider adheres to environmental protocols and pays the regulation fees any provider from any country can come and operate in Kosovo. That's all we ask.

Thank You

The good thing is that Priština is constantly overstepping the boundary and opening opportunities for Serbian institutions to take control. They didn't really think through the consequences of turning power off in the North. Now EPS run the show there with an opportunity to becoming the second power supplier in the province. Why not? I'm sure there will be many people wanting a supply from EPS.

Slowly it's all changing in our favour. The North is a lost cause for Priština so the sooner they accept that and start negotiations, the better. After reading some Western press, it looks like the idea of negotiations is gathering steam.

Actually it freed up the electricity that was being used and not aid for to help the paying customers in the south. Now Serbia has to decide what to do about the people who refuse to pay. After the comments of they were being derived of basic human needs, do they dare cut them off?
Talks of negotiations are only about what to do with the north. Right now that would go no where because Serbia will not sit down and discuss anything with the govt of Kosovo except status.
However, I do believe the north is a face saving subject for all. Ksoovo gains independence and Serbia gets either partial or full control of north.
I have not heard any officials from the west that have changed position on status negotiations.

Let there be more providers of electicity in Kosovo and let individual families of every ethnicity choose the best provider for themselves. When there is more than one electricity provider in the territory they will strive to offer best services to citizens regarless of ethnicity. Let the people have a choice.

When the Kosovo energy company, KEK, cut off the electricity supply to northern Kosovo on October 20, 2009, the Serbian government began the delivery of electric energy.

If the people are not going to pay for it from Kosovo and then are not going to pay for it from Serbia, who in their right mind thinks the international community are going to sponsor a new source of electricity in the north.
Wherever the electricity comes from will have to be paid for.
