Just to remind you Martti Ahtisaari is a Nobel Pease Prize laureate who has contributed to mediating conflicting parties throughout the world; namely the significant role he played in 1989-90 in the establishment of Namibia's independence. As you might be aware, Namibia is in Africa. So his influence and respect in African nations is much higher than you might anticipate. Therefore, we Albanians are more than happy to have him in our team. In addition, he is not going there to lobby for Kosovo people, he is going there to lobby for the truth which is obviously misconstrued and misinterpreted by Serbia’s FM and his team.

Jeremic seems worn out of argument against Kosova independence.
He is just using slogans such as "international law", "breaking a sovereign country" and other silly argument like. With these kind of statements he is testing the Africa intelligence and more over scaremongering.
I just can not understand what is Jeremic trying to achieve by upsetting/annoying the Kosovar Albanians on one side and talking about Serbian sovereignity on the other side. IT JUST DOESN'T ADD UP!

Not sure how Serbian can 'pressure' those countries. They don't have anything to pressure them with and Russia isn't getting that involved with recognitions. The United States is pressuring countries and they have the economic clout to do it despite the current economy crisis. So it is one-sided when it comes to pressure.

I don't get his point... Whoever is pressuring these countries is doing exactly the same thing that Jeremic is doing, i.e. pressuring these countries not to recognize.
Jeremic is used now to ask others not to do what he does. Another example is the fact that he asks all others to wait for the ICJ's opinion before deciding what to do with Kosovo, whereas Jeremic himself has already declared that regardless of the ICJ's decision Serbia will not recognize Kosovo.
It appears to me that something is wrong with him. Does Jeremic believe that only he is priviledged to do certain things ?!!!
Reading the daily life of Jeremic is a boring activity, though this is not for the person himself travelling all over the world, it is for us who must listen to the same phrases over and over again: “How important it was that he attended this meeting, where he could convince those nations not to recognize Kosovo’s independence”; “how he could stop……..”; “How high the pressure is…….”; “Serbia is only interested in international law”; “Serbia’s point brought up to the ICJ, is the most important with far reaching consequences for the international community” etc.
Not seeing that he, in this way, is demonstrating his own nervousness about the outcome of the ICJ-verdict, he must point to the opposite side of being nervous, although they show it in a hidden way. Maybe it makes him nervous that the Kosovo-side is not really showcasing its endeavor. Would he have sleepless nights, because they are so confident to having done the right thing and therefore being assured of a positive ICJ-ruling?
