The Iranian regime will blame the west for this trouble and its constant interference in its internal affairs. Knowing how this lot work they will not let this digression pass but the NATO body-bag count will increase sharply in Afghanistan as payback. The US attempted something similar when in Iraq and for several months the US death toll was horrible.
This color revolution is another pipe dream. The west is so deluded into believing that this is the 1990s when you had the orange, velvet and rose revolutions, but this is 2010 and all those gains have gone. Unfortunately, the west does not live in reality and has been in the land of limbo for the last seven or eight years hoping for the “good times” to come back with the wave of some magic wand.
The Ukraine is lost, George is like the US’s Alamo with El Presidente Shak living in the twilight zone mumbling about freeing those captured lands knowing well that nothing will be done. The people in Georgia wish to be rid of this President that has lost them so much, but the US is supporting “democracy” so he stays.
Iraq is lost to the west and now Afghanistan is their latest battle ground which will end up in a spectacular failure. However, not satisfied with these huge loses the US wants to start in Yemen.
Perhaps the author can recall the actions taken by the California authorities during the LA riots! I remember columns of National Guard trucks and armored personnel carriers rolling down one of the main LA highways which was not a very democratic picture or has time dimmed the memory of western journalists?

Don't give west so much credit and heroism for distroying small country like Serbia. Rather, call them bullies by distroying Yugo, country, where all people lived reasonable good life, but now, they all lost their way and all thanks to west. Instead preserving what was good about Yugo and letting changes slowly, they came inn like a bulls and distroyed entire Balkan and stil proud of it. Sad!
