Very strange army.., in their whole history Slovenian Army has menage to kill themselves, only..., and a single Serb pilot with a helicopter full of bread... I think they should ask Austria to protect them professionally, like in good old times, and stay alive.

'And Ncos hang in limbo :)I'm no army man but dont that depend on which army we're talking about and nature of deployment, location, regular or combat environ., rules are also different from unit to unit and so on? Or do you know for a fact these Slovenians in Metohija only have assault rifles to choose when they decide to kill themselves? I really dont know. Anyway you miss my point or maybe you dont.

The details depend on the particular unit and its mission - special forces types have them, machine-gunners have them. Etc. And senior NCOs (in the US Army, at least).

I had no idea what your point was, so I just offered a general comment suggesting it wasn't surprising that the girl didn't use a pistol.

Another example why many Serbs have such bad marks in history?
(John, 25 November 2009 16:04)

Of course we have bad marks in history, just take a look at the marks the New Albanian Terrorist Organisation left on hospitals, power stations, railways, TV stations, schools, CHINESE embassy...and with depleted uranium, cluster bombs, tomahawk missiles, and a lot more.... of course we have left a mark, much like Hiroshima & Nagasaki, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraq and Afghan wars...but hey the Americans won all those wars, didnt they? They must have achieved something regardless of the hundreds of thousands of civilians killed *collateral*...they found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq didn't they?...Oh wait they didnt.

bad marks in history? do you realize that the Serbian flag flew over the whitehouse in 1918, after the Serbs defeated one of the biggest empires and strongest in the world? Serbs won both World Wars. Defeated the Turks, and 1999 kept Kosovo after the cowardingly bombing of your western heroes. So what history are you talking about! please give some evidence and dont just repeat the same lies of CNN its getting old bro, way old, just like the same lies that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, the west is rotting day by day, and Serbia's fight for freedom and truth will triumph as it always has.

Thaci-guys demanding protection money from every business). In 1980 speaking German was not that widespread. Now it's like the second, pardon me, third language. Because Serbo-Croatian is still the lingua franca. Like in Slovenia, too.

Sorry Ataman, but Slovenian soldiers arepart of MNB-West,which has a base in BjeloPolje called "Village Italia". I don'tknow when was you last time around here, but as far as languages,I can tell you that English is the second spoken language after Albanian, and third is German,etc...
I must tell you that serbian is the last on the list.
Oh I must say that Slovenian soldiers arevery professional andI comned them for their professinalism. May she rest in peace.

Sad news. As for comment #1 ("Slav soldiers in Albanian villages..") these villages changed a lot. There is barely anyone now who can't speak German. I was impressed, but it is also a pretty sad sign. And every Albanian I did speak with in German tells the same story regardless, for what reason he did return: he had much better life in Germany (next what they complain is the widespread corruption and Thaci-guys demanding protection money from every business). In 1980 speaking German was not that widespread. Now it's like the second, pardon me, third language. Because Serbo-Croatian is still the lingua franca. Like in Slovenia, too.
