Your country, Hungary, needs the EU. You should be happy that Hungary is a member of the EU.

Mircea.
In general I am a very happy person but far not because Hungary or Poland are in EU.I was happy during communism and I am happy now mainly because I play more even than cats and have always done so.

Leonidas,

Romania and Moldova share the same language, history and culture. It is normal for the two Romanian states to have good relations.

In the past, the communist government in Moldova prevented the country from having good relations with Romania.

Moldova's new government wants to develop closer relations with Romania and the EU. Romania has always supported Moldova. The Romanian government's position has not changed in regards to Moldova.

The only man for this job I am willing to accept is Mircea. If Eurochinovniks put someone else in this position I will unite such arch rivals as Dinamo ,Steaua,PAO,Olympiakos,Ferencváros , Honvéd,Lazio,As Roma, Celtic,Rangers,Legia and Lech fans(ooh it has just crossed my mind Zvezda and Partizan fans do not need visas very soon.) and organize a march to Brussels.Although I am not a fan of Lisbon treaty formed EU I am willing to accept only a true idealist not some fat cat who only cars about filling his pockets.MIRCEA FOR PRESIDENT.No other option. He has proved his dedication.

There was an aura of optimism when the Berlin Wall
came down that European nations engulfed in different
ideological blocks will be free at last to choose their own destiny.

Instead the collapse of the Soviet Union was used as a global ideological offensive against countries which were still outside the capitalist mode of production. Thus we had the huge expansion of the EU and globalisation.

The EU has always been a bosses' organisation representing busines
interests. But the union now has been ring-fenced with political power and basic concepts of respect to individual state rights are non-existent in a one-size-fits-all stance which sacrifices all on the altar of unbridled economic growth.

Since the EU detached itself from its electorate by imposing the Lisbon from above my fear is that its eventual collapse could probably lead to wars in our lifetime.
