It is undeniable fact Russia (unlike some European states) has never betrayed Serbia during its long history. While visiting Belgrade 20 October, President Medvedev of Russia will undoubtedly outline the same commitment to brotherly Serbian people once again. All Russians are supportive of fostering friendly ties with Serbia who is acting on the international arena with pride and dignity.

I believe it’s good time to give an impulse to our relations. Both Russia and Serbia are seeking for reliable friends. Besides unlike the Belorussian and the Ukrainian ruling groups Serbian elites have less fears to die in the Russian embraces. Moreover relations with Russia are the best tool to make the Europeans softer in the matters of Serbia’s integration and the Tribunal’s misbehavior.
