Extreme idiots. I agree with what mourinho said after. The media twisted what he said ( for ratings ) and if something happens to him it's on these news paper idiots.

Don't understand..the great " Mou " has only answered to a question about Montary sostitution that he saw the player a little tired and not as quick as he always is..
So what scandal ??

it is crystal clear that mourinho is correct here. he is in charge of his team and what he says is law. this is how a team is run. furthermore, lack of nourishment, especially at the beginning of such a fast before one's body gets acustom to new schedule of fueling, leads to lack of energy and strength.
the religious over tones are absurd. if a player chooses to switch over to veganism, and subsequently display lower energy levels during the long adjustment period then this player is acting no differently to the player who is fasting: their personal choices are directly and negatively impacting their paid job, and their performance during the act of their job.
its a shame that such as clear cut case is being argued at an abstract level, a place where the argument doesn't belong for it is not a issue with religion, or personal choice, but rather an issue with performance of an employee at their place of work.
Just as one wouldn't accept that a firefighter in the middle of a fire fight takes a few moments for their daily prayer ritual. It's not that the ritual of praying is wrong or bad, but some times rituals get in the way of one's profession, and if that is the case, the person in question's employer has every right to both complain and possibly repremand if the ritual has a significant negative impact against completing one's daily professional commitments as and when they are called upon.
