Italian charges against Đukanović dismissed

An Italian court has dismissed an indictment against Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović for cigarette smuggling because he has diplomatic immunity.

I know its easy to get support for bashing Djukanovic, but he really deserves it. Its obvious he's crooked. We know his political background, his former and current 'business' activities and so on.

But still you have to admit that he is head and shoulders above other Montenegrin politicians. Just watch the way he handles interviews and the way he has divided his opponents.

What is frightening is his legacy, he's relatively young and presumably he has at least another decade of governing ahead of him. This guy intends to be the modern king of Montenegro....

That is unless the opposition can cut across divisions.

CG should be ashamed. You elected a common cigarette smuggler as your PM. And for this criminal to get immunity, is the height of injustice. Milo fits right in with his counterparts in Pristina.

This is a fine example of justice in the land that invented the word "mafia". Instead of putting him on trial, why don't they give him a medal like they do in Kosovo.
