Just prepare what you are going to say to the Croatian mothers when their sons come home from Afghanistan in bodybags if they do at all.

Roberto, if you mean it seriously, your naïvity knows no borders.
He was one who destroyed it. He also said, Croatians won the WW-II twice: once as they joined Hitler, second time as they joined Tito.

If there is afterlife, Mesic will be pleased with hot sandwiches served by Miloshevic, in a very hot place.

Many Serbs I know are NOT anti-Albanian at all. Many like to work with them. But of course they (and myself) disagree with many things. This is what I mean. But politicians like Mesic are not to be trusted. They already did prove who they are ( = communist apparatchiks).

I think, I wasted more time to speak about this communist with twisted soul than he deserves.

---------------------

I guess NATO and EU has completely brain washed Mesic.
(Another Canadian Serb, 2 April 2009 14:43)

Not at all. A good communist has an ability to change the orientation at any time as the momentarily situation seem to favor. There is a famous (East) German word for that kind of behavior: "Wendehals".

From that point of view I would say: it's rather Mesic who did brainwash NATO and the EU (and of course Roberto from SF). No wonder, only ones who did live a while under communists can recognize a real communist. I am almost crying because of nostalgia, such a familiar feeling to see a real commie.

Mr Mesic is nothing but a former communist apparatchik who has changed his colours many times following the current political trends. If anything his comments are in bad taste and Serbia should send a complaining note to their ambasador for meddling in our internal affairs. Mr Mesic would be wiser to look into his own courtyard and solve the problem of almost 300,000 Serbs expeled from Croatia who are still waiting for return! I wont even comment their conflict with Slovenia over few square kilometres of sea but it springs to mind Croatian hypocrisy over Kosovo recognition. If Serbia was spitefull it could support the Slovenian cause if nothing else then on the principle of reciprocity. And finaly, I wonder what interest will Croatia have from failed and corrupt regime of Kosovo? The answer is none, just a bitter aftertaste in their mouths when they finaly realize that they lost some true friends.

Better friends?, fly to Moscow I guess!.

First of all Mr Mesic is talking about Kosova and not Serbia(two different countries), second is that whenever someone close to Albanians speaks good for Kosova you Serbs get very angry LOL. We Albos don't really care who are Serbia's allies... we know we belong in Europe while majority of Serbs still think and hope to have a little Russia in the Ballkans.

Mr.Mesic's interview with BBC(in Albanian) was far more devastating for those who haven't realized the new reality in the Ballkans yet.

Congrats Croatia and Albania on becoming a NATO members.

I think Mr. Mesic should put things in the proper perspective. The situation in Kosmet is nothing like the situation in Bosnia, it is far more like the situation in Croatia and Krajina. If he wants to maintain a principled approach he should let the Krajina Serbs return, let the Krajina Serbs separate from Croatia and tell the remaining Croats in Republika Krajina to like and accept the new Serb State. Then he would maintain a prinicpled, fair approach to things.

First of all:

Serbs in our southern province cannot be compared to Croats in Bosnia because Kosovo de jure is part of Serbia, the world community recognizes our soverenity, also UN and EU,Arab league, defacto it is under foreign occupation while Bosnia is an independent state that has nothing to do with Croatia.

Second:

Mesic is playing a very negative role by stirring up trouble in Bosnia whenever he can, ranting against the RS and its democratic leader Dodik, meeting with Muslim and Croatian members of the presidency but not with its Serb members.
He was the mastermind in Tudjmans government behind the expulsion of 700 000 Serbs from Croatia and praised I quote that "We Croats won twice in WW2,the first time when we collaborated with Hitler, the second time when we joined Tito`s partisans."

He is a vicious Croatian nationalist that changes his story according to the changing music.
That makes him much more dangerous than the antisemite and die hard nationalist Tudjman.

The problem is Mesić, with the Croatian tourist industry crumbling and no Serbians in sight, the much needed tourists will not be coming from KiM anytime soon either. The Albanians will be going to the Albanian coast while Serbians will likely go to Greece and Cyprus so you can try but accept the fact that Croatia is in for some extremely hard times.

Meanwhile Thaci is meeting with Solana today regarding Kosova's SAA and Eu integration the day after Albanians SAA came into full effect. Not even Spain will block Kosova's initial EU steps, the rest will be solved in the next 1-2 years.

Thank you, mr. mesic for your support and wisdom, again. you are among the best and brightest to come out of the former yugoslavia, which, tragically, has sported some of the worst and sleaziest of politicians imaginable.

be well and thank you for your comments, your support.

Mr. Mesic, for someone who says he is freinds with Tadic you sure take liberty in sticking your nose in Serbia's business. Friends don't presume to tell their friends what to do.

I think Tadic needs to get better friends.

Nothing unites better than a joint rival but those are temporary blocks. Remember Janatah Party united by hatred towards Indira Ghandi and ruined soon after they came to power. So the man must think twice of what this "friendship" can drive to.

When was Bosnia a part of Croatia? Never. Croats in Bosnia always knew they lived in Bosnia. Kosovo is a part of Serbia and Serbs in Kosovo are citizens of Serbia not some fake terrorists run fictional Kosovo state.

Now what makes me think that Masic's message is more to do with EU intergration rather than citizens of Kosovo!

Now how about getting Serbs backs up for their own......

You don't need to be Albanian to be naive and most Albanians aren't naive - I can't say that about Americans.
