Gray sounds too optimistic to me. Yes, Serbia is not on the financial brink. But the fundamentals (low savings, huge trade deficit) are unsustainable and will lead to the brink if the crisis continues for some time.

With more and more developing economies needing financial help one can expect that the World Bank and the IMF will get stingy fast as there is not so much money available.

So one should better prepare for tough times.
