Romanian handball international Marian Cozma was killed and two of his teammates injured in a knife attack at a Hungarian nightclub early on Sunday morning.

It's a sick world we're living in and probably God was lacking champions.
"Life without family is void" was his favorite quoatation and though his was not, he ended up losing it in a butchery style execution.

This is so sad. I really don't know what to say. My condolences to the family of Marian Cozma and let's hope for a speedy recovery for Pesic and Sesum.

First of all I wish a total and rapid recovery for Sesum and Pesic. And as a Hungarian citizen I feel myself absolutely ashamed that I already cannot hope the recovery of Marian Cozma. One of the two killers is already captured, I hope the second one will be captured very soon as well and both of them will receive the most serious punishment according to the law. It is extremely sad that this might happen in Hungary, our country must repair all the damages for the players, for the families of Cozma and for the Romanian, Serbian and Croatian handball. It is a tragedy that we cannot remedy everything. I am sorry, desperately.

This is a sickening and revolting attack by a mindless group of hooligans upon sportsmen.
It makes no difference where this occurs, it is a disgrace and a sad reflection on society.
I can only imagine how it must have felt to be one of only three men against over tens of others. Credit to the Serbian and Croatian players for not turning tail and running out of there. My deep sympathy for the Romaninan. Sadly it is not unusual that players can be attacked but MURDERED, I'm speechless.
