Speeding killer of actor gets year in jail

Talk about a miscarriage of justice. I wonder who paid the judges to hand down this light of a sentence. Disgusting.

Generally there is a lot of bravado and a generally bad standard of driving that costs the lives of innocent uninvolved people. The idea of having long prison sentences for causing death by dangerous driving is to be recommended - but it does depend on the judges being responsible enough to use the length of sentences as a deterrent.

It is always sickening to hear of someone dying young because of the idiot behaviour of idiot drivers.

Another day, another person killed on the roads. Another judicial process where somebody is let off with a minor sentence for killing somebody else.

And another day when the government and parliament do absolutely nothing to prevent this from happening.
