The fact is that these Albanian Boxers from Kosova, the newest country in Europe do not need nor want the measly Serb Gov't pension. In fact they make more money per year than either Vuk Jeremic or Boris Tadic. Just don't try to extort Serb taxes from them. Besides, the Kosova Gov't will pay their pensions and at a higher rate than the Serbs.

Serbian discrimination of it's ethnic Albanian citizens in southern province of Kosovo continues. When will it stop Serbs???? Why extra papers for non Serbs if you are 'multi ethnic' ?

glad reality has set in and Albos are referring to Kosovo as Serbia's southern province. This is a great move for Serbia.. too many crooks want to enjoy the benefits of living in Serbia but cant show any loyalty to their host country.

This news has been already published in Blic and Politika and it caused an outcry from their Serbian readers (see the websites of these newspapers). It is recognised by majority of commentators that this Ministry decision is inappropriate and I am sure that it will be reversed.

For the record, these sportsmen deserve their National Pension for what they have achieved (in accordance to the Serbian low) irrespective of their private opinion on political issues. I dare to say, based on comments in Politika and Blic, that this is a predominant view of the Serbian People.

Serbia is a small country but very successful on the sports arena, especially compared to other nieghbors. It's striking how Serbia and Croatia are so successful in sports while some of our neighbors lack that talent all together.
