Donors to pledge aid to Georgia

Western donors meeting in Brussels are expected to pledge more than USD 3bn to help rebuild Georgia, two months after its conflict with Russia.

I would consider pumping such a massive amount of money into a poor, small country a risky business. I can already see the massive corruption scandals as a result! I really wish that this money were to go to all those innocent Georgian refugees who suffered the brunt of the war, but instead probably a portion of this will stuff the pockets of some corrupt officials and politicians.
