Besides of many positive things there are indeed few areas where improvement is needed.

The very first thing: both countries should establish a NORMAL visa-free regime, without invitations, vauchers and other bureaucratic things hindering the travel.

From passport point of view, Americans are still much more welcomed to Serbia than Russians.

what he's saying about :'creating the positive image of each other'; he's got a point there.

I don't know what are the points that the Russians need to adjust to create the positive image of the Serbs (I can think of many things)
but in Serbia people must get over this cold-war stereotype
of Russia as imperial big brother who prefers keeping small Slav nations under its thumb.
I've lived in EU and USA for the most of my life, but I have developed a positive image of Russia already. Due to a consistent and unambiguous support they've been giving to Serbia with the Kosovo issue.
But it is not just that.
As well I have the feeling that
Serbia and Russia can be great business partners.

We should really try to work harder on becoming even better friends.
