Just remember one thing before you vote in May: These countries that support DS and Tadic recklessly bombed Beograd and killed Serbs (and Chinese) there because of events occurring hundreds of kilometers away. You may have thought that, by voting for Tadic, you were preventing Kosovo's UDI. Well, that thought has been thrown under the bus. Some of you may not remember this but america sent a guy named Milan Panic to bribe Slobodan Milosevic with a bank executive job in california if Milosevic resigned. You can debate that it may have been a good idea then, but this arrogant american tactic has been used many times before and is still used today.

Are you sure about that? "The whole wide world just another American town" doesn't actually fly that well.

Have you ever visited an American town? It's pretty depressing.

Tadic faints not to understand the proposal and repeats the same as western mainstream press which is waiting since a long time for a proposal of partition which doesn't come. This "misunderstanding" is just another try to smear DSS before the upcoming elections. This kind of behavior is not in the interest of Serbia and doesn't fit a president of the republic!
Perhaps he should consult with his foreign minister who perfectly understood the sens of the proposal and who was very precise on this topic at a news conference in Indonesia on 03/27:

"...the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly denied an Associated Press report from Jeremić's news conference in Jakarta.

The news agency said the foreign minister described a proposal for cooperation the Ministry for Kosovo recently presented to UNMIK, as entailing partitioning of the province.

Jeremić in fact told journalists that Serbia wants to cooperate with UNMIK, whose presence is defined by the UN Security Council Resolution 1244, and that the proposal "constitutes an attempt to find interim modalities for cooperation with UNMIK in the difficult new situation, created by the illegal declaration of independence by the interim authorities in Priština," the ministry clarified in a statement released this afternoon.

"Serbia is not advocating a partition of Kosovo and remains committed to preserving its sovereignty and territorial integrity," the statement says.

"Serbia wants to find ways of cooperation in the new situation in order to reduce tensions in its southern province and to avert any conflicts undermining security, such as have occurred in the past weeks," Jeremić was quoted.

The MFA also urged Serbian and foreign media "to report accurately and reliably" Jeremić's comments made in Jakarta".

I am not a fan of any political party at the moment in Serbia. They are all of them horribly similar. And that is OK with me, as long as they, in order to promote themselves, do not damage national interests. First of all, I think, our Constitution should create space for several amendments, the first of which would be that the elected President of state, cannot any longer be a member of the party from which he came. As the things remain for now I can see that Mr Tadic is using the presidentship to promote Democratic Party goals, the same that Mr Kostunica did yesterday in the Vlada, when he used the seat of the Prime Minister to promote the goals of his minority party. The political elite in Serbia abuse public seats, and the "narod" does not understand that those seats are in its possession, and that if the politicians do not represent its will, they must go. I am mad with Mr Tadic because he cheated on his electorship: he got votes to sign the SAA with EU, and he did not do it because he had negotiatons under table wiht Mr Kostunica, and maybe even with the Radical Party. Then we saw that the Prime Minister dissolved the Vlada because he understood that by the dissolution of the Vlada he gained more than by partnership with a dupe President. These are all the signs that the ovearall Serbian political and economic elite is utterly corrupt and that they are using the national interests for their petty party gains.
Kosovo is gone gentelemn, it is the high time you disclose us your economic plans for Serbia, othewise you should pack yourselves and go from public institutions since that belong to the state.

My god people, wake up from a secular sleep and open your eyes, think about your childrens future and make thier life beter.
Turn your head and open your mind and see how European states, United States, United Arab Emirates
they are 100 years ahead of us.
Why you people make things so difficult to understand or to see what is beter for your family. Why you people want to live the life under somebody who dosen't listen to the half of the world.
If you people don't know why Serbia is going through all this, then it is a time you people of Serbia can decide for your children and your famylies future by checking back no more than 20 years ago.
We are almost in 21 century so remeber the history it did not come from sky the history was writen by us during the centuries and we still can write it again, I hope no body wants to go back in the history because if we go to much we will end up by trying to figure out how we can start a fire, so we want to go foward and explore a beter life for our children.
Wake up, wakw up people.

Am I completely confused by Tadic? What does this guy want exactly? Is he taking a firm stand or is he trying to stand on 2 very opposing stances as once?

Well I'm not completely clear on what Samardzic's concept means.

It may be the same as the Albanians were doing in the 1990's - in preparation for independence in which case there must be an eventual aim - and it would seem to be partition, if there is no joint life planned.

No, what worries me more is SRS opinion on this. Where does SRS stand on Samardzic's policy? Is SRS saying clearly no division of Kosovo.

Who will decide Kosovo policy in a SRS / DSS government? I pity the radicals because I think DSS plan to take PM, Secretary for Kosovo and all economic porfolios. There won't be much left.

Mr Tadic is malicious, he knows perfectly well what functional partition means. No one is trying to implement or establish any partition which already de facto exist, but only functional and Mr Tadic should know what does functional partition means. If he does not know, some must explain him that we want two systems in province, one Albanian and one Serbian. Of course, everyone loyal to Serbia may choose Serbian institutions in the province be it Serb, Albanian, Gorani, Roma, Turk.

But I must thank Mr Tadic for making me laugh out loud by recommending us to vote for him because he can deliver us splendid country, perhaps as splendid as some 8 years ago. And let’s repeat once again to make it as clear as possible “Please people, if you vote anyone else but they keep in mind you vote for isolation. Oh, no wait, you vote for self-isolation, you vote for the dark future” :))))))).
