Tadić: No MUP presence in Kosovo

"The president stressed that any kind of activity by Serbian police forces in Kosovo would represent a breach of Resolution 1244, which would be dangerous from the point of view of defending Serbian interests in the province."

So it seems that everyone else can breach Res. 1244 but Serbia can not. I think that Boris Tadic needs to get real. At this stage, Res. 1244 is not worth the paper it's written on. Serbia must defend Serbia's interests, full stop.

The Serb Gov't has done a good job defending these MUP claims. I have heard nothing from UNMIK or any other orgzation saying anything on this topic since they know they are the instigators. The investigation and evidence will go further and show that Albanian-Serbs were the ones that wanted this violence. Unfortunatelly the Serbs are made out to be the bad guys again with this propaganda. Serbia always play defense and are too LATE with their responses. Fight for the truth Serbia and let the people know what really happened with that ugly and barbaric raid of peaceful Serb protestors in Serbia.

I do not agree with president Tadic claimning that there are no MUP forces in K.M. Even if that was the case, I thing that is wrong. You have all the rights to have some undercover people there working for our case. If you do not have them I would be really dissappointed...

UNMIK says there are no MUP forces, but I wouldn't believe what they say either on this matter...

If you read the news carefully then you can notice that the north is actually pretty much as if it was part of Serbia...

The problem are the enclaves were other Serbs live...

this is what they call 'permission to speak' :) tadic only talks about mup allegedly in kosovo after unmik says, no, they are not there. previously the whole week, tadic is silent. it's cute.

The KPS is saying there are no parallel structures of the MUP. Why would they say there are some, it would undermine their authority.

There is proof because what the MUP always makes a mistake is talk openly in radio channels. The Serbian General Karadzich is wanted for Genocide because he talked on the radio, "direct all tanks and weapons towards the parlament (Banja Luka)..there aren't many Serbs there." UNMIK says it has information and names of people identified as MUP talking in the radio mentioning Moltov cocktails and an attack on KFOR/UNMIK.

Do you believe that 300 Serbs whom some were ex KPS officers just on the spot met and on the spot had moltov cocktails? It was all planned. This is clearly proof that Serbia is trying to distabilize the region. This campaing started with destruction of embassies. This is illegal and is against all international laws and norms.

Serbia must defend Serbia's interests, full stop.
Hi Tom, could you give me an example of what you consider as a defence.
For me I believe in diplomacy and looking at the bigger picture. Serbia has for a long time has had a shortage of diplomats.
But I see a few young stars on the horizon.
