Jan,

Misspelling your name was deliberate, i though it would provoke a reaction!

With regards to the MUP angle it is relevant to named it because it confirms that its not individuals who are perpetrating the violence, its actually masterminded by the Serbian government.

Hope this clarifies the matter for you

"but when they instigate violence and attempt to interfere with internal affairs then their actions become illegal."

Ahh - so the problem is not how they are, but what they do, eh? So it is illegal to do illegal things. Right, got it!

So why not drop the MUP angle?

Jane,

There is nothing illegal for anyone walking around the building or streets of Kosova, whether MUP, MI5, CIA etc but when they instigate violence and attempt to interfere with internal affairs then their actions become illegal. Hope this answers your questions!

As for the previouse posters who bragging about how easy MUP members have entered Kosova and nothing can be done about that, I seem to remember that the very same people said Kosova will never declare the UDI and if it does no one will recognise it and that Kosovars were being duped and so on and so forth.

Well, the fact of the matter is that Kosova is independent not and has been recognised by most influential countries of the world.

Ps, Jane we are Kosovars and not Kosovians !

MUP is in "working" in Kosovo, of course they are. MUP does nothing else in Kosovo except terrorizing, persecuting and controlling their own people in the Serb enclaves. It's the old communistic/Leninistic way of MUP now doing the same things to Kosovo serbs, as they used to commit crimes against Albanians during 90's.

Priština daily: MUP has 10 branches in Kosovo

Too bad that it isn't 20! But the action plan seems to be working just fine.

And regarding the "hard evidence", is that the same evidence that NATO had that Ibrahim Rugova was murdered by the serbs during the NATO agression...? I remember Jamie Shea saying that at a press conference, and NATO never lies, right?

I am a Kosovar & will answer to you sir.
You are talking, maybe, from somewhere far away from Kosova, but I will let you know that reality live in Kosova is different from what you listen to the news or watch on TV. You need to spend at least one day in the cities of Kosova and you will change your mind, you will see serbs walking on the streets, shopping, drinking coffee in coffee bars, eating in the restaurants, working in the municipality offices and all of this daily live that every one live in Kosova nobody disturb them.
On the other side of the page are the secret services. Secret services where created to work under cover, so what, every single state has their secret services to do their job whatever political representative tell them to do, there is no problem, they are doing their job and they know that if they go in the other state they can be killed if the other state representative of secret services find them. So what do you think sir when all of us we know that each single government can’t operate without secret services? What do you think about Kosova? Do you think that somebody somewhere out there is doing their job correctly; I assume that they (Kosova) are doing their job also. Everybody know what they do have inside their homes, even when you got the gests, or when ever you find a guest that is trying to kill behind the back, of course that you will kill or fired him out .

bmrusila I thank you for your always well thought out and correct comments. Its a shame that people like Nehat Krasniqi still think that recognition by countries that are behind the seperation means more than what a UN resolution does. nehat, it is you that is living in a dream. There is a very big difference between the norm of international law and recognition.
"This is true and its Serbia's drive to annex Kosova as they wanted to do since the the start of the talk in 2007."

Talks? Annex kosovo? You do know what annex means dont you? Kosovo is serbian territory, for serbs to annex it, it would mean for us serbs to declare it independant. Where is the sense in that? Oh, and before you state talks, don't forget to state that the albanians showed up with a one worded vocabulary (i.e. "NO") and enough stubborness to kill an elephant.
Live together in peace? You have sure shown us that promise, i mean from the events in 2004, which just so happened to be "too much" for the thousands of UNMIK and KFOR officers, and all the way to vandalised graves and throwing people out of the only jobs they can get. Not to mention power cuts. Burning down churches. Oh and the human organ racquet. And having KFOR and UNMIK try to close borders.

If only you had the slightest clue. You would realise that you are as close to independence as a pig is to flying.

MUP has every right to be in serbia, sending in EULEX is illegal, thats why they have so many problems.

And i cannot stop laughing at the fact that so many of you albanians are having hissy fits at the thought of MUP being in kosovo, as they have been for how long?
They have every right to be there, UNMIK, KFOR and every other thing in kosovo has no way of stopping them.

God knows we need them there, after all Delponte didn't do anything against the organ stealing, KFOR and UNMIK didnt do anything during 2004 and up till now, and the albanians only want the serbs and everything else out so they can create a "greater albania"

According to KiM radio, UNMIK spokesman Alexander Ivanko said that UMIK had hard evidence that officers from the Serbian Interior Ministry had been present in the Kosovska Mitrovica courthouse when the protesting justice workers had been arrested.

This is called a selective keeping of proofs...I wished this guy had also kept proofs that will have helped Del Ponte to indict the KLA leaders... but for some unknown reasons, they disappeared...
The same guy of course refuted Hartman and Del Ponte's commnents about the complete absence of UNMIK cooperation in regards to KLA.

This is true and its Serbia's drive to annex Kosova as they wanted to do since the the start of the talk in 2007.

This is an illegal movement and it should not be allowed to remain in Kosova.

To all those who have commented on resolution 1244, i can only say that you live in dreams and the reality is the Kosova which has been recognised by most of the G7 members and it will in no way shape or form change the boarders of Kosova.

The parallel Serb movement which seems to have started in Kosova initiated by Belgrade will only delay the progress of the serbs in Kosova.

The only way forward is to live together in peace and try to build a local and regional economy.

Over 200m euros trading have been cut off from serbia as a result of Serb revolt, Kosovars will continue to boycott the products and this is in no way good for both 'Serbia and Kosova' futures.

Is this the same paper that had reported how Serbs drowned those albanian kids in the river, and made them lie on tv, which gave them the opportunity to ethnically clense more Serbs from their homelnad?

What an amazing article by Koha Ditore! Do they really expect that they have discovered something new? Nothing has been done that hasn't been done by Albanians in Kosovo for decades before...

One thing is for sure, no Pulitzer prize for this article :-(

Serbian MUP is doing its job...in Serbia. UNMIK is incapable and easily manipulated/intimidation by our Albanian tenants, yet obnoxiously aggressive toward Serbs. In a way we are responsible to protect not only Serbs from Albanians but also Albanians from what is awaiting them once US/NATO loose patience with their antics.

”We have the names of these people and that is hard evidence,”

No it isn't. Unless UNMIK can prove that certain people are members of the MUP and that they were in Kos. Mit. then that would be hard evidence. A list of names simply is not.

How many CIA agents are in Kosovo and what are they doing there? These are much more relevant questions than the presence of MUP.

So tell us, Black Eagle, lazer, Nehat, Bad Gorilla etc.

I don't get it?!?

Why would it be illegal for any Serb, whether he/she happens to be member of MUP, BIA, or the local boy scout organisation, to be in Kosovo?

Why would it be illegal for 10 such people to walk around in some building?

Why would it be illegal? Please Kosovians - answer me. Why?

As we all officialy know as of today KLA and co have deep, very deep pockets...

bmrusila I thank you for your always well thought out and correct comments.

Tom O'Donoghue,

There are enough CIA agents in Kosova to hunt down the MUP from serbia that is operating in Kosova!
Does this answer your question?

Kosovar -Ilir

pre 16 godina

"but when they instigate violence and attempt to interfere with internal affairs then their actions become illegal."

Ahh - so the problem is not how they are, but what they do, eh? So it is illegal to do illegal things. Right, got it!

So why not drop the MUP angle?

"Ps, Jane we are Kosovars and not Kosovians !"

And I am Jan, not Jane.
