Oh, and taking Kosovo away from Serbia is not a dirty game? Dividing Serbia is not a dirty game? If you say that you can divide Serbia because you are a majority in the south, why can't the Serbs divide Kosovo, when they are a majority in the north. You people just love double standards, don't you.

Forgive but don't forget...

The Serbian dirty game to devide Kosova should not be tolerated by Umnik and NATO troop which I still believe can do their job very well. Kosova MUST NOT be diveded.

Oh my! What are the Kalbs going to do with their minority that does not want to learn to speak Albanian, or participate in their government? What will the Kalbs do when Serbs start setting up check points, and well, you know, they may copy KLA tactics. lol

There will be a seperate police force for north kosovo, and i dare UNMIK or Kosovo albanian government to stop them, now they will get a taste of theyr own medicine.

bmrusila; As for foreign embassies in Belgrade, let’s treat them as collateral damage.
How convenient. Ask US officials what did that mean?
Attacking US, UK, Slovenian, Croatian has done more harm to Serbian that to those countries. However while there are people supporting actions similar to those Serbia will remain where it is.

We don't need to speculate what will happen to them: Kosovo and UMIK police announced that they have suspended all of them indefinitely.

Anyway, Kosovo has enough Police Officers to keep the situation under control with the support of KFOR and UNMIK Police. No need for Serb Police Officers. In addition, soon Kosovo will establish the Security Forces.

Serb KPS are working up to now. What is wrong with them? I wonder if they have been threatened from Serbian authorities?
One thing is not clear to me, are they going to be part of the KPS or what.
Ahtisari plan allows the to have what they want but they are obliged to be under the umbrella of KPS or in future RKP. Mind you let them interpret it the way they want, it is the Ahtisaari plan that they are going to obey.

Ahmet Isufi,

Kosovo is still Serbian southern province according to resolution 1244 which is btw still in force. Your UDI is illegal which is basically confirmed by the UN whose general secretary refused to give its permit on establishment of EU mission. Your status is still quo while resolution 1244 in force. Serbs in Kosovo have all possible rights to treat Kosovo and Metohija as Serbia’s southern province which is under interim UN administration and therefore Serbs can only be ruled by the UN and have certain responsibilities towards the UN. Serbs do not want to be ruled out by the Albanians and no need to repeat why is that.

If the agreement is not reached, then Serbian police officers will work independently in Kosovo and Metohija’s areas inhabited by Serbs and will be under Belgrade’s umbrella. Albanians have no say on this since they used exactly the same principle of boycott in not that far past. Don’t forget Kosovo is Serbian southern province until resolution 1244 is in force and as such recognised and interpreted in the UN.

And yes, Kosovo as the black hole of lawless in the world does need extra police force. Yesterdays event in Prizren confirms what kind of place Kosovo is turned into, since under Albanian rule. You will need extra, extra sub-station.

As for foreign embassies in Belgrade, let’s treat them as collateral damage.

"They can create their sub-stations to work independently in Belgrade if they want but not in Kosova.
Besides Belgarde has a need for extra police since they are unable to prevant attacks on foreign embassies from thugs.
(Ahmet Isufi, 29 February 2008 11:30) "

No need for them to go all the way up to Belgrade. They just need to go pass the Ibar, and there their services will be enthusiastically welcomed by the inhabitants there.

Well the Albanians have created an illegal police force in a part of Serbia - perhaps Belgrade should send in more police into Kosovo to restore law and order.

As of today only 21 countries had illegally recognised an illegal separation of Serbia - 21 countries - about 11% of the world...

There are hundreds of other minorites who will fill their positions to make it "look" mulit-ethnic, we too have our own action plan for this kind of situations, and it was expected. KPS will give them some weeks, after that those who dont return force will have no other choice but to suspend and remove them from the force rank. You dont respect the republic, might as well move back to Serbia where you can "act" Serbian officier, looking at how Belgrad police respondet to the latest events, they sure need some help.
