I saw on TV what happened and how he reacted to journalists when asked questions. He totaly refused to answer any questions.
To everyone in Kosovo his visit was very surprising. Many questions are not answered. Who were the people that were there to protect him? They didn't have any uniforms and they were carrying machine guns.
When he (Tadic) was asked will you visit Kosovo after independence? he yelled at the journalist who asked the question by saying "don't provoke me" and started walking toward him/her mad but his bodyguard stoped him. I am sure this will be last time Serbian politicians come to Kosovo to gain their votes for elections in Serbia, next time you;ll need approval from Kosovo's government.

And this is to the guy with nick name EAGLE, please do not use this name if you can, I;ve been using this nick name for some time now and people will get confuse who is who. Thanks

When I hear K Albanians say independence is their life and that they would prefer death to remaining within Serbia, how can you deny them independence.

For the Serbian posters what would you say to those K Albanians to persaude them to stay within Serbia

What a melodramatic picture of Tadic in Kosova!

You have killed 12,000 people, destroyed 120,000 houses and still the VICTIMS ARE SERBS

'Tadić also visited the grave of Miloš Petrović, who was killed in a bomb blast, aged only 4.'

No doubt this was a 'revenge attack' for the evil deeds Milos had perpetrated against ethnic albanians in the 90's.

Hoxha, did you see the news photos of tadic walking through Kosovo-Metohija? There were a few guys with sub-machine guns all around him, that is how he walked through Cernica. Please stop whitewashing the situation in Kosovo-Metohija. It is ruled by Albanian former KLA terrorists, and you know it.

Thanking the Serbs in Cernica for their welcome, the president said: “Thank you for everything, for dancing, for singing the national anthem, for being happy, and for wearing our national dress.”

The president thanked Slobodanka Tasić for her sincere letter that he had read out at the last session of the UN Security Council, and presented her with a book by his favorite author, Miloš Crnjanski, saying, “Serbia lives on in Kosovo through you.”

:)) just few weeks ago the letter said how bad it was for this girl to live in Kosova, under barbed wires, threats by Albanians etc and today all those dancing, singing etc. So much for the truth of that letter.

Anyway, as for Tadic's promise that he will never recognize Kosova's independence, well thats true because I don't expect Serbia to recognize Kosova in next 5 years, at least. So by that time Mr Tadic won't be President anyway, hence his claim stands corrected.

Agreed Afrim..But only if you save us from your comments of ignorance.

I think the average person from Kosovo, has had enough of people like you drum beating their cause.

Well, as far as the proud perveyours of Albanian democracy is concerned, they ARE cohabitating with the Albanians. Why concern yourself about Serbian devotion to Albanian politics?

Anyways, unlike Milosevic, it's far better having Tadic promise them that nobody will ever beat them again...In fact, i think he's congratulating them for taking hard lumps on the head...

Serbs in Cernica were singing, dancing in serb national costums... This shows that there is democracy and freedom in Cenica, otherwise they would not be able to sing and dance. The village of Cernica is mixed of serbs and albanians so therefore serbs can not say that they were dancing because they are in enclaves. I have personally been in Cernica and have seen that serbs there move freely. This is a fact that i have seen with my own eyes so serbs, please save your comments of hate.

Thanks

I also remember a time when KFOR had to go and arrest a guy for using his dog to attack kids in Cernica. It has got better there KFOR still patrols the area but no need for a patrol base it was before. I am glad he was able visit the people there.

My dear Serbian brothers and sisters- please don't let the bureaucrats in Brussels manipulate the elections. Don't give away your soul, and by all means never give up our Kosovo. The EU is showing it's true colors by trying to dangle inconsequential "carrots" in front of our people. Shame on the EU for their persuasive tactics in promoting "their" candidate. Serbia does not need to become subserviant to the EU- Serbia will ALWAYS be a part of Europe- hopefully with it's "soul" and Kosovo intact.

Mr Tadic, how can you come to Kosovo to meet a handful of people? You claim that Kosovo is a part of Serbia, and you refuse to visit Pristina, where most Kosovars live. How can your country totally ignore the existence of 95% of the population that you claim are your citizens? Not even in the worst days of apartheid in South Africa can be found more examples of racial or ethnic hatred and discrimination than you showed today. You are not a fit and proper person to be president of a European country. Though Nicolic is worse, and Kostinuca even worse still, you have shamed and disgraced your country with this pre-election stunt. Kosovo Albanian politial leaders, like Mr Thaci stand head and shoulders above you. They have behaved peacefully, with dignity and respect. If I was a Serb in Kosovo, I would fear you and your political cronies in Belgrade far more than the Kosova leaders.

What a shame, a reminder of a similar sentence that sparkled a disaster in Yugoslavia (Milosevic's "Niko ne sme da vas bije").
It seems that they always use Kosovo when it comes to gaining power...why give promises to serbian Kosovars when instead he should advise them to look towards taking their position in Kosovar politics and in cohabiting with albanians which is a must.

Peace to all!!!
