i really must agree w/ toni-UK, here and elsewhere, and thank you for all of yr comments; they are intelligent, articulate and "spot-on" as the britts say.

as for mr cedi -- i do respect his politics and ideas (i'm anti-nationalist!) -- he is not antiserb, that is a lie! as to his $$ and corruption i have no clue, but if you want to look at corruption, the "socialists"; the Radicals... i mean talk about selective perception. in other words, he is a scapegoat for the extremists.

and now, as to the (implied) threats: he has no right to live here, bla bla... obviously others agree, since he has survived several assassination attempts, and i would not be shocked if there are more.

assassinations are the result of utterly exteme and desperate politics, coupled with an unspoken acceptance of this sort of violence. but then if you wanna move closer to current russian politics, it fits right in...

Ceda and his party should be investigated and thrown in jail. Evidence is plentiful all we need is the PM to issue arrest warrants and begin the investigation.

He won't win anything and thank goodness for that.

bmrusila,
i'm with you on this. no violence and no revoking of citizenship of course, being an irresponsible nobody is not in itself an offense, but this guy needs to be properly investigated by the authorities. i have a feeling he's in politics to get a place to hide with parliamentary immunity and whatnot. of course he doesn't think he'll win. he'll just collect i don't know how many 100k euros that the budget gives each candidate. makes you sick, right sick to pay the tax in this country.

ToniUK,

Jovanovic does not deserve citizenship in Serbia you say, or any where ellse for that matter?!!!

- Yes he does not but since he is a "Serb" there is nothing we can do about it. My sentence and opinion does not call for any kind of violent act against him. This was just a phrase in order to emphasize how bad person he is, so bad that he even does not deserve to be a citizen of any country in this world. However, I did not call for taking his Serbian citizenship away.

So, what exactely do you suggest it should happen to Mr Jovanovic?!!

- I do not suggest anything should happent to him. I do not call for any violent act against him. But in my opinion he is a criminal and investigation on his criminal activities and links with the assassination of PM Djindjic should take place as soon as possible.

Your comment and judgment regarding Mr Jovanovic is anything but democratic.

- I live in a free and democratic country and have right to think and have an opinion. My opinion towards someone that I consider to be bad is very democrtaic but I can't help my feelings. At least I am honest and do not fake my opinion just in order to make it more politically correct.

I'm sure serbian people distant themselves from nationalists like you, and people who once killed Mr Djindjic

- If you see me as a nationalist it's ok, I do not mind. I will just tell you that I am patriot on the first place. I do love my country by all my heart, and I see nothing wrong with that. However, I do really appriciate people of other nationalities living in my country as long as they respect Serbia as thier own country, as long as they respect Serbian citizens as their neigbours, colleagues, friends.....
As for other people distancing themeselves from people like myslef, hm, honestly I haven' noticed anyone avoiding me or distancing from me just because of the love that I bear for my country and its people.

Whoever plays on Mr. Jovanovic success it lost already. Will anybody vote Jovanovic? His chances are close to zero. The reason is that he doesn’t have any credibility left.

If I was told that I didn't deserve to live in Serbia or anywhere ellse, I would feel threatened, and considering what happened to Jovanovics's ex leader than this sounds like a real threat from you?
Your comment and judgment regarding Mr Jovanovic is anything but democratic.
Actualy inciting against someone the way you do, not sure it is on the legal side of the law?

I'm sure serbian people distant themselves from nationalists like you, and people who once killed Mr Djindjic.
This for a democratic Serbia, and a europian future.

"convincingly prove that Serbia today cannot be forced to accept the Kosovo dream dreamt for 500 years"

What does the sentence means?
Kosovo is not a dream. He should wake up and do something for Serbia instead of empty phraseology!

Jovanovic should be in jail for his criminal activities. He speaks about corruption without mentioning how did he become so suddenly rich. I just wonder why there is lack of energy to investigate this man's origin of money and property. Still wonder why there is lack of energy to trully investigate this man's links with criminals and accusations against him related to assassination of PM Djindjic.

Yet this man does not deserve to live in Serbia and have Serbian citizenship becuase this man is ready to give up the part of its own country in axchange for a few bags of dollars. This man does not deserve to have anyone's citizenship since the man who is ready to sell its own country cannot be trusted.
