Sarajevo is trying to keep BiH together, nothing more. By giving an example of the possible position another Muslim state in Europe, i.e. Kosovo, might have, it makes the EU think twice about hasty recognition of independence. Because with Kosovo independence might come a separatist RS.

From what I understand they captured the British sailors in Iranian water territory. God forbid we find Iranian activity near the coast of Florida or somewhere around Great Britain. This incident has a lot more to it than just "nabbing sailors in empty waters" you'd have to be a fool to draw such conclusions. This is a result of long-term western attempts to destabilize, control, and intimidate the Middle East; with oil in mind. Oil is the driving force behind all western foreign policy in the Middle East.

Nuke the world? The Iranians do not possess such sophisticated technology. In fact, the only country to use weapons of such mass destruction is the United States in Japan. But I understand what you're saying, the Arab/Persian world should bend over and enjoy the pounding. They should bend over and enjoy watching America arm Israel to the teeth, and they should bend over and enjoy foreign interevention determining the future of their region. What an understanding person you are.

As far as Bosnia is concerned; the situation could get worse, it could get better..this is something we cannot predict. But I understand it is in the interest of the Serbs to see Bosnia dissipate. What do you think, those who are loyal to Bosnia should stand aside and observe the inefficiency? Do you think anything would ever get done if the the ethnic groups had to consult one another in such a government? I agree that the different ethnic groups should consult one another if a central government is ever implemented, but as things stand right now, it is useless. Somebody has to take the initiative to state-building. I guess it is alright for Serbia to develop relations with Iran, but not Bosnia.

Over 60%? Get your demographics right. If over 60% of the population doesn't identify with Bosnia that would mean that "less" than 40% of the population is Bosnjak, it would mean that all of the Serbs, all of the Croats, and some of the Bosnjaks don't identify with Bosnia. That isn't true, I believe the Bosnjak population is somewhere around 45-47%. I also believe the Croats are in favor of a central government. Have you followed the elections? Zeljko Komisc is pro-unity, they understand that there will be no western Hercegovina secession. This leaves about 37% of the population (Serbs) who are blocking any move towards unity. It leaves 37% the population to blame for the lack of police reforms and for the lack of progression towards the European Union.

No, republika srpska does not belong to the Serbs, it is an entity that belongs to the sovereign state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Christian Schwarz-Schilling has more say/authority in Bosnia that the federation and republika srpska combined. The international community has been trying to strip the powers of the entities in favor of a more "central" type of government. Let us hope it follows through.

You quote the Dayton agreement when it comes to preserving the integrity of republika srpska and then turn around and predict that the country will cease to exist. Aren't you forgetting that secession is also illegal according to the Dayton?

The country will survive, it is just a matter of time before governemnt reforms can develop.

For those of you who dont know Serbia has closer ties to Iran then Bosnia. I do not think that it has to do with religion but rather politics.

Sarajlija - what Billy mentioned is what I'm getting to. All of a sudden Muslims feel they get a right to speak about the whole state of Bosnia, when in fact over 60% doesn't even feel part of the country. First of all 50% of the territory has its own constitution and is called Republika Srpska so technically this belongs to Serbs doesn't it? This was created in the Dayton accords so would that mean they are pro Greater Serbia? What I am saying is Bosnia should know better than side with someone who is nabbing sailors in empty waters and threatening to nuke the whole world. The best comment is no comment. Honestly, is anyone going to listen to what Bosnia says about Iran? Bosnia is one of the most dysfunctional countries in the world. It will probably cease to exist in 10 years.

Bosnian officials like this gentleman are making it easier for Serbs and Croats in Bosnia to separate themselves from the Bosniacs. All government officials in Bosnia should adhere to the EU line on Iran.

More Serb propoganda from people like Milan. Bosnia has every right to develop relations with Iran or any Muslim state for that matter. I understand it is veri convenient to cry "terrorism" "Islamic state" in these situations..echoing the very same anti-Bosnjak, anti-Muslim propoganda spread by Serbs. If you aren't aware, Serbia has developed relations with Iran as well, yet you make no comment regarding that matter? However, when it comes to Bosnia you cry "Islamic state." I guess the trivial and inpractical dream of a Greater Serbia still lingers in your consciousness..as it is evident that you people believe Bosnia belongs to Serbia and Serbs. Fortunately it doesn't, and it has the right to develop relations with Iran.

Bosnia trying to cooperate with ALL Islamic states? Might I add the majority of Bosnian citizens are Christian who would want to probably stay clear of that considering 60% of the population was terrorized by muslims from the Middle East, and now they would like to cooperate with them so Bosnia can take in more of them to finally ethnically cleanse the population of non-islamists. Also, when has nuclear research ever been for humanitarian reasons? Secondly, that stuff stays radioactive for 1000 years. I'm not sure what Bosnia is trying to do here other than have others perceive that they are a state that boasts and islamic majority that has close ties to other Islamists. This is just asking for trouble.
