It is true that we albanians in Kosova do not publish or allow all material that can published in serbia. It is true that in Serbia there is not a lot what happens in Kosovo because a strong medial blackout.

I am fluent in many languages including also serbian and a read a lot and watch many sources of news

I assume Tony is fluent in Serbian, follows the vast array of competing Serbian publications, and feels safe in his ivory tower?

Unfortunately, this is true in any country. 5 minutes of watching Fox News in the US will teach you that. The majority of Fox News viewers still believe Iraq ordered the World Trade Center attack on 9/11. Staying truly informed takes a lot of work most people aren't willing to do. Thank you B92 for offering a rare view point on many world events and making it easy for those of us in the US to find information on the Balkans.

Why is this is surprise? Serb media has changed very little since the times of Milosevic- it is base in propaganda to advance their nationalistic agenda in the expense of their neighbours. All this will serve only one purpose in the long run-making their own society clostrophobic to anything that has to do with reality...quite the responsibility. Just like Cosic said: WE lie...
