100% true. I find it funny how China with a big economy and military can't take Taiwan back, but Dodik who's in charge of an entity thinks he can do something, forgetting Serbs are surrounded by NATO and EU countries.

Why was the west able to conduct genuine diplomacy during much harder time with the Soviet Union and get good outcomes? Simple, the west had some very capable people who knew when to push the envelope and when to back off or reach an agreement.
Today, there are legions upon legions of party officials that hold high ranking positions, but they are totally inept. Some of the best examples are Anthony Blinken, Kamala Harris, Victoria Nuland, Ursula Gertrud von der Leyen, Viola von Cramon and current German defence minister Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer to name just a few.
This nonsensical talk of democracy and pluralism, blah blah, blah is endless. It’s like a broken record stuck on the same line and playing the same tune over and over again.
All you have to do is listen to them talk and you automatically realise that the lights are on but no one is home.
