I’ve watched Novak for some time now. His game is losing it sharpness and he seem to have lost confidence in himself. This is normal when a player of his caliber embarrasses himself, as he did in the recent Olympics. This trend continued in the finals of the US Open. Only time will tell if he can regain his mental game.

@ vranja - "embarrasses himself"??? NOTHING embarrassing about Novak's game....even on a "bad" day, he's much better than most.
What happened is Medvedev is a MUCH better player that people give him credit for...and he caught Novak on a "Terrible" day....In other words, the planets aligned for him;)
