And I dont think there's something more sacred than human life. Oh the USSR and Gorby. How many millions of ex soviets destroyed in the process Sen? How many Polish, Ukrainians, Russians, obliged to flee and go to west to clean their seniors asses?

In retrospect it was a huge mistake. Every region of Jugoslavija produced their own Tito "substitute". Instead of removing these "substitutes" the West decided to side with some SOB-s against others.
Would be YU kept in one piece - the entire Western Balkans today would have Euro and be part of EU. Soviet Union - if kept in one piece would not be part of EU simply because of the overwhelming size. But it would have a status similar to Norway.
In this scenario there would be one clear loser: the defense industry on the East Coast of the US.
Serbia was the only country that lost out when Yugoslavia was dissolved and with good reason. Serbia continues to lose out because of poor leadership and lack of vision. Unlike the USSR which saw the light under the leadership of Gorbachev. Imagine what would have happened to Russia if not for Gorbi’s vision.
Believe it or not most of the Serbian's DO NOT want to join the sinking ship EU we like our independence and all Serbs to be united from north, south, east, and west but of course EU doesn't want that.EU and Croatia like to see us divided.
