It doesnt matter how much you try, Kosovo stays where it is, mainly by 1244 and ca 50% of all world states. (And counting).

A very good news!

The bad news for the Albos on this idea of Kosovo joining Albania.
First, Kurti is only pulling your legs that he will join Albania. This is the usual waving of the “plan” during an election. Even dumb, dumd Haradjin mentioned it, but he is exceptionally stupid.
What are the problems in that idea?
1. It would create such a problem for the EU and US, its simply will never happen. If the west agreed then Republika Srpska waves bye bye to BiH.
2. Albania is in no financial position to take on Kosovo. The only way would be for the Germans to work until 90 before being eligible for retirement as the EU would have to fund this “new Albania” otherwise it would collapse.
3. The UN would not recognise such an entity as Russia and China will veto the proposal. It would create such a huge problem for Albania that any potential investors would vaporise. No one would invest a Euro in the “new Albania.”
4. An item that has never mentioned is Kosovo’s foreign debt that has been serviced by Serbia. Now before I get the usual drivel, yes, its drivel, about that its Serbia’s debt blah blah. Its not. When the Yugo republics left Yugoslavia, they all; note the word ALL, had to take their share of the total Yugoslav debt.
In other words, dear Kosova Albos your f****.

When Yugoslavia fell apart each region was apportioned its share of the overall Yugoslav debt. So Croatia, Slovenia, Macedonia BiH Monte Negro had to take their share of the debt based on a specific formula. When the Austro Hungarian Empire fell apart the same thing occurred. No one leave without paying the bill.
At the moment Serbia is servicing the portion allocated to Kosovo. Now pay close attention. If Serbia recognised Kosovo tomorrow you and your goat herders will have to repay Serbia that money. At this rate Serbia will clearly own Kosovo outright and you can never leave LOL.
If you think I am joking or making it up ask someone with knowledge of debt owed by a country.
