Apropos, Navalny. BTW: my granddad was a convicted criminal, his crime was that he openly stated: "Soviet Union is a prison". He got 10 years in GULAG for that, so he should be a criminal. He served 7 years, than Khurshchev came and he was pardoned. Than Gorbi came and his "crimes" were declared null and the verdict was declared void.

Regardless, the political circus with Sputnik-V is a crime and who do that should be charged with voluntarily manslaughter.

No one in the right mind would take anything made in Russia. I am glad Serbia is taking them though😉. Let’s hope they do grow tails soon.. hahaha

During fascist occupation of Albania, a woman well dressed goes to complain to the Prefect of Tirana becuz her husband was being held in prison accused of being a communist. She explains to the Prefect that in no way her husband was a communist, in no way he could have communist ideas in his head. If you talked to my parents when I was 13-15 years old, they would have said to you that I was going to finish my days in a prison for the same reasons your grandad finished in prison. Problem with the communists regimes the likes of Soviet Union and Albania was that they never allowed us to emigrate for economic reasons or to simply join family living in West. I am sure now only now that if they would have allowed us many would have left and would have seen with their eyes which were the real prisons. And your grandad never said that the Soviet Union was a prison of the different nations that formed the Soviet Union. But this is what Estonians Lithuanians Ukrainians and other irrelevant and extremely boring nationalities say today.

If its the same Polina Ivanov who works in Reuters then that is very odd seeing that she also wrote that Sputnik V was 92% effective. Yet Croats are demanding the Russian version. I dont understand why anyone would reject Pfizer when its full of freedom and democratic goodness.

He peacefully divorced as my grandma and him were not really compatible in character. He re-married and his second wife later passed away, so did my grandma. He moved to stay with my parents in the house we live at this moment in Hungary (when not in France).

At the age of 98 he was going to travel to U.S. to see us, but he suddenly passed away in hospital during a routine check-up due an unforeseen infection. Everyone who knew him believes, the Hungarian doctors made a poor job and after he passed away had very lame excuses. EU or not, the Hungarian public healthcare system is still eons behind of the West.

TBH, the life in former East Block is also eons behind of the West.
Of course you can live wonderfully and hope, you do. But sadly, none of our children wanted to have anything common with the former East Block, they are all over West Europe now.
