America and Israel usually only act in their own narrow national interests, not in any wider interests. Smaller countries may, understandably, try and avoid confrontation with larger or more powerful states by acting like the proverbial three wise monkeys to avoid sanctions or other pressures. However, to establish an embassy in Jerusalem, the disputed city holy to Christians, Jews and Muslims, is never going to be the right or moral thing to do, whilst the backdrop is systematic persecution of Palestinians and the illegal occupation of Palestinian lands.

Only thing that matters is politics and economy. Everything else is irrelevant. Everyone cares about their own interests. No such thing as "friendships" or "brotherhoods" exist. It's all about interests. Always have been, always will be.

This is the second time that Kosovo broke International Law.Turkey has the right to be upset.Turkey should call on all the middle east countries to revoke independence of Kosovo.Kosovo made all these countries look lake fools.And remember UN1244 Kosovo is Serbia.

Three years ago, Turkey said it would open an embassy in East Jerusalem for the world to recognise it as the capital of a Palestinian state. The US wants to move its embassy to west Jerusalem.
