The Crisis Staff decided - no new measures until Monday
At today's session, Crisis Staff hadn't decided on new measures. They are still under consideration, the existing ones will remain in force until December 15.
Introducing mandatory PCR testing BEFORE travelling to Serbia will severely disrupt any plans among the diaspora to come home and spend money to help keep the Serbian economy afloat. It's unlikely people will travel to Serbia if they are unwell, as we all know, that in some places, the Serbian healthcare system is under severe strain and Serbia is thus not often the best place to fall ill. There is also the psychological benefit the diaspora brings with them; just like as when Serbia suffered under sanctions; when the diaspora comes home, it tells Serbians in Serbia that they are not alone and it is unity that will save us from disaster.
