It may be a good idea to "clean" the buses and trams twice a week with ozone but until a way is found to deal with the ignorant, selfish and mindless idiots who still continue to use public transport without a mask, we will all be put at risk! Yesterday on one of the buses I witnessed a thug of around 20 years of age launch into a torrent of abuse at a fellow passenger after that person politely asked him to either put on a mask or move further away. All passengers just watched and did nothing, many of whome were also without masks. It is time for these measures to be enforced in the only way that many of these idiots will react to..by using on-the-spot fines. The state can sanction the use of dozens of inspectors for the Bus Plus system but cynically turns a blind eye to passengers who actively assist the spread of this virus that is killing fellow citizens every day of the week. I would not be suprised if many of those passengers not wearing masks probably didn't pay to be on the bus or tram either! Come on people, stand up against these arrogant fools who are adding to what is already a very serious problem. Do it for the health and safety of yourselves and your fellow citizens.
