You're right, promaja is a killer. I hadn't known that until I moved to the Balkans, even though my mother was a nurse.

But the real killer is when old ladies wearing thick black wool stockings and apron and scarf yell at you on the bus for opening a second window when the temperature inside the bus is 45+ degrees Celsius.
