"EU has nothing to offer to Serbia"

This is a reasonable article. Reading between the lines it clearly asks why Germany, France, UK, America, etc, ever got involved? They caused a huge problem in '99 and then "recognising" an illegal "state". Had the west not encouraged Albos to take up the gun nothing would have happened. We know the CIA trained Albo terrorists from the mid 90s because they boasted about it. Nato broke int. law by attacking Serbia. They then broke int. law by ignoring UN1244.
As I've said before, this will go on and on. Serbia will not be offered EU membership any year soon even if they were to recognise its stolen land as a country. And we know that a good majority of the Serbs do not want membership of EU. So the carrot is not there.
Serbia should never recognise Kosovo. In time the situation will change in the world. That will be the time Serbia rightly takes full control of its lands. Only then will justice be served.

I see that there are still some intelligent people left in the west when they say the EU has NOTHING to offer Serbia in exchange of recognising Kosovo – NOTHING!
There will be no division; both the west and Serbia do not want to break up Kosovo, but for different reasons. Serbia is slowly positioning the west into a checkmate situation.
Serbia can now say we signed the Brussels Agreement and fulfilled our obligations and next move is for the Albos to meet their obligations. Belgrade can also say we offered a solution but that was unacceptable to the west.
Locals will work with the Russians and Chinese. The Turks are given too much credit since they are a third world country whose economy is on the brink of collapse spending money they don’t have trying to rebuild the Turkish empire. Erdogan is in Syria and now Libya. The Turkish people are paying a very heavy price now, but it will be 100 times worse once the global economy starts to tank, and it will.
Why would Serbs disband Bosnia? The EU pays for Bosnia and while that’s on the agenda why strangle the goose that lays the golden egg?
The US returning? The US was in the Balkans and could not resolve the issue so if it returns what’s going to change? Nothing. I seriously doubt the US will return because this current financial crisis will cripple the US, and whoever wins in November will have a depression on their hands plus serious problems of the dollar as a reserve currency issue.

Germany let Bulgaria, Romania and their lap-dogs Croatia join, even though none of these were ready. They would love to let so-called "Kosovo" join immediately too, in order to extend their sphere of influence in the Western Balkans, but they messed that up by insisting that a normalisation agreement be signed between Belgrade and the local authorities in Pristina first. Hard cheese Germany. Let us hope that there will never be an agreement because the present situation is unsustainable. Kosovo is Serbia and the central government's power over the province must be restored. Those who don't like it can get out - I'm sure that Albania would love to have them. If not, come to Germany, there is plenty of room for you here.

As for the markets there are the other players apart the EU, that cannot decide whether they are comming or going.

This is a reasonable article. Reading between the lines it clearly asks why Germany, France, UK, America, etc, ever got involved? They caused a huge problem in '99 and then "recognising" an illegal "state". Had the west not encouraged Albos to take up the gun nothing would have happened. We know the CIA trained Albo terrorists from the mid 90s because they boasted about it. Nato broke int. law by attacking Serbia. They then broke int. law by ignoring UN1244.
As I've said before, this will go on and on. Serbia will not be offered EU membership any year soon even if they were to recognise its stolen land as a country. And we know that a good majority of the Serbs do not want membership of EU. So the carrot is not there.
Serbia should never recognise Kosovo. In time the situation will change in the world. That will be the time Serbia rightly takes full control of its lands. Only then will justice be served.

I see that there are still some intelligent people left in the west when they say the EU has NOTHING to offer Serbia in exchange of recognising Kosovo – NOTHING!
There will be no division; both the west and Serbia do not want to break up Kosovo, but for different reasons. Serbia is slowly positioning the west into a checkmate situation.
Serbia can now say we signed the Brussels Agreement and fulfilled our obligations and next move is for the Albos to meet their obligations. Belgrade can also say we offered a solution but that was unacceptable to the west.
Locals will work with the Russians and Chinese. The Turks are given too much credit since they are a third world country whose economy is on the brink of collapse spending money they don’t have trying to rebuild the Turkish empire. Erdogan is in Syria and now Libya. The Turkish people are paying a very heavy price now, but it will be 100 times worse once the global economy starts to tank, and it will.
Why would Serbs disband Bosnia? The EU pays for Bosnia and while that’s on the agenda why strangle the goose that lays the golden egg?
The US returning? The US was in the Balkans and could not resolve the issue so if it returns what’s going to change? Nothing. I seriously doubt the US will return because this current financial crisis will cripple the US, and whoever wins in November will have a depression on their hands plus serious problems of the dollar as a reserve currency issue.

They would love to let so-called "Kosovo" join immediately too, in order to extend their sphere of influence in the Western Balkans, but they messed that up by insisting that a normalisation agreement be signed between Belgrade and the local authorities in Pristina first. Hard cheese Germany. Let us hope that there will never be an agreement because the present situation is unsustainable. Kosovo is Serbia and the central government's power over the province must be restored. Those who don't like it can get out - I'm sure that Albania would love to have them. If not, come to Germany, there is plenty of room for you here.

Reference to sj. I would like to state that most of us here on b92. net. contributed a great deal over the years sending a humanitarian aid to rep Serbia when our country needed us- we were there.
Including myself. For yrs. I was sending aid to Banja Luka, Nis, Novi Sad, Indjija.
I have many Thank you notes from people I aided.
And when I visited Red Cross in one town to drop things I told lady my name she jumped out of surprise and thanking me so much.
As far as my passport goes on the first page there is a Queens message asking me to promote UK, and passport controllers to treat me with utmost care.
sj is a very good ambassador of his country too.
