To what extent is the new EU enlargement methodology applicable to Serbia?

In the 90s the Soviet Union collapsed and Russia led by a drunk Ywltsin was on its knees. Today Russia has little debt, a lot of gas & oil and is very powerful with a sober and serious leader....Putin.
China is now a powerhouse every way you look at it.
USA is now approx €23/24 trilluon in debt, which was not the case 20/25 years ago. We also see America with huge social problems at home.
You see Jody if you live in the present you see a whole new world, a new ball game. America can not bully the world any more (see Venezuela, Ukraine, Syria, N Korea)
America will never attack Serbia again wven if Serbia sends in their military into Kosovo (which is a very real possibility at some future point).

You remember what happened when Serbia tried to delay negotiations at Rambouillet in 1999 in order to avoid the bombing and again when Martti Ahtisaari was trying to settle the agreement between Kosovo and Serbia? It did not end well for Serbia. Experience should be a good teacher, but unfortunately not for Serbia

EU be dead by the time the rest of Western Balkans complete or ever complete the chapters. Keep delaying the process Serbia, nothing to gain by joining.
