Today marks the 21st anniversary of the murder of journalist and owner of the "Daily Telegraph" and "European" - Slavko Curuvija.

It didn’t take much for Serbia to fall in the pig lard.

In some sense he was an indirect victim of the bombing.

The bombing did not made anything more democratic in Serbia.
Instead, it polarized the situation, prolonged the political carrier of Milosevic and created a long-lasting conflict on Balkans - precisely what KLA was asking for.

Without the bombing Milosevic would be ousted sooner, would become much less of a "hero" and U.S. would have a much stronger position in Serbia and Russia.
