Why do workers in China earn more, for the same job, than workers in Serbia.

Because that is how China started mate. You start by building your economy from the ground up then comes the better pay later.

Wrongly.....how idiotic of you to just take a swipe...... with no knowledge of much.
Tell us what these wages will be???
Read my previous comment on geography, transport, regulations,etc...
What a nasty piece of work you are.
NB; tell us how much the workers in Kosovo are paid......
Oh sorry, now I remember, they dont have jobs. They are unemployed en mass......

Dragan J, it may or may not be the case that Chinese workers earn more than those in Serbia. But a huge factor in opening up a factory or plant in Serbia is due to geography. If the finished product is for the European market you must take into account transport costs. There are of course other issues such as regulations on items produced in China and sold in Europe. By producing in Serbia these tighter regs may be avoided.
There are other reasons to throw into the mix such as political reasons, etc.
