The Iranian missiles would never have been fired, the plane not hit had the Americans not killed the general. The Americans seem to want praise for putting out a fire that they started.

The Iranians just fired missiles into several US military bases in Iraq and despite the Washington loudmouths declaring they would respond to any such action they did NOTHING. Why didn’t they respond?
What has happened by killing the Iranian general? two things; it has shown how the US irresponsibly operates outside international law/norms and many countries now look to Russia/Putin to resolve problems. The second point, Iran replaced the General within hours of the killing. Its interesting to note that many now think all this was done to take the heat off Trump and the impeachment process.
Now for the killing of the Iranian General, well that will cost many US lives over the coming months. More haste less speed.
