Do you remember a Venezuelan Embassy in the US being taken over by putschists? where was the convention then? Guaido was ousted today and never endorsed by UN. So the USA had to protect the personnel of the Embassy en not participate in their ouster. I think it is fair that the security council did not publish a statement as USA illegally retaliated.

Why? Because mike pompeo wanted that since extended period of time.
Every time I have to visit a U.S. embassy and have to see his picture on the wall I want to vomit. Same about trump of course, but hey - didn't he promise he will grab America by pussy? He is holding her.

But the other side with Hizbollah support isn't much better, probably worse than mike pompeo.

Given the two... most people still would like to live in that "rogue regime" (true!) than under Iranian "theocratic democracy".

One thing is sure: since over 100 years USA has the best PR in the world.
