Vucic has painted himself into a corner, as he has publicly stated his denial of the Racek massacre, killing 45 Albanian women, children and other civilians, committed by Serb military in January 1999 and subsequently convinced NATO to bomb Serbia. Any mention of his asking “why” has become irrelevant now that he is facing a prison sentence for promoting hate, as indicated by EU law.
