I'm one way yes, in another way no. EU has long had problems. Macron realises there needs to be reforms before new members can have accession talks. Reforms are needed for the EU to survive and have a united voice. Immigration and preserving a nation's sovereignty and identity is essential. Merkel welcome open border policy and giving minorities excessive rights over the majority of the population was a big disaster. Forcing Christians to accept gays but not forcing Muslims to do so. Banning pork in govt cafeteria to not offend Muslims, not being able to say "Merry Xmas" at Xmas time as it may offend other non Christians, lowering the minimum numeracy and literacy standards for migrants entering the workforce but not for its own citizens. The current EU policy is one for the citizens and one for the non citizens.

Well Wollfie here are your two scenarios to stop this disaster. Start talks with North Macedonian and Albania but stretch it out for the next 3 decades or crank up the retirement age in Germany from 67 to 97 and you will have the money to accept these two soon.

I am still troubled why our President still wish to continue talks with kosovo* when EU had slammed the door onto rep Serbia face? I would not. Let them rot.
