Why would anyone want to enter this Mafia
(Peggy, 22 October 2019 00:19)

The biggest reason: the political mafia can get fat cheques from Brussel if they play well.
However, we are not entirely left behind because:

- these cheques are partially used for serious infrastructure improvement, so we enjoy better housing, transportation and so on
- if we really hate what is going on, we can simply move to a better place without much bureaucracy.

It's a rotten deal, but better than no deal.

Good example is Bulgaria, which before ca. 2010 was far worse than Macedonia.
After that the monies from Brussel started slowly show up.

Why would anyone want to enter this Mafia club is beyond me. Same conditions. In for life or pay the price.
Serbia, are you watching?
