The Old Railway station is being reconstructed

It is good that the old building is not being allowed to decay.

I was in Belgrade last week. The city was a giant building site, I was amazed how much work was going on and how much it had changed. Some of it is going to be a good improvement but some seemed to just be trying to join the craze for building big glass and steel monstrosities. I was also in Skopje and Belgrade needs to make sure it doesn't end up looking like the theme park that has turned into.

This is great news for those of us who will take advantage of this historic station. And yet much train service is being shifted away from this station...
