Thaci the message was clear: integrate with each other and if you succeed in this only then you you can pretend to be integrated into EU. Other message: stop calling US even when you have constipation problems, you all have applied for membership to EU not to the organization of american states. Thaci obviously didn't attend the same Berlin meeting that the Albanian trolls on this site attended, who've been boasting about some forced recognition.
The "empty speeches" are quite appropriate for an "empty independence".
In contrast to Thaci's emptiness, Serbia is still filled with Serbia's UN and UNSCR reaffirmed borders, inclusive of its KiM province, which Vucic reiterated in Berlin.

You will yawn alright when half of criminal Serbia ends up in jail like Radovan Karadzic.

Serbia's most horrific crimes were on display in Congress yesterday. The 16 year old girl that was raped by two serbian criminals talked about her whole horrific situation. She is an American citizen and she is not going to stop until the Justice has been served for her and the other 20,000 women that were raped by these criminal animals. Kosova is not Bosnia, and it will never stop until we get all these criminals behind the bars.

Yesterday Germany’s leading news website published an interview with Thaci including some critical questions. But at the end a kind of platform with demands from Prishtina is visible, from Serbia no clear positions can be seen. Vucic and Dacic are speaking about a compromise, ignoring that every results of negotiations are compromises. It’s the same as to say in the night it’s darker at during the day. Where are five or ten demands or red lines from Serbia? Why the Introduction of ZSO is not a demand before starting again talks? In the difficult German-German talks during the Cold War it was said, after it was clear where no agreement could be reached, the door was open to practical solutions. Belgrade must say the own people and the world what is not possible, what is stipulated in the constitution how Prishtina says related ZSO.

Jimbo, you're failing to see the obvious. The Serbs leadership explicitly said that all negotiations are off until the Albanians stop with their sophmorish games - 100 % tax in particular. The tax gets lifted, and the Serbs come back to the negotiating table, simple. As it sits now, the Albanians can ask for whatever they want and ask for a thousand meeting, however, it falls on deaf ears because the Serbs aren't budging until the environment for negotiations is reasonable.

Got to love the level of ignorance displayed by the serbs here. A simple statement made by Thaci fires them all up and allows all of their insecurities to surface.

James....I have to say that Pristinas position is clear. Its clear they want it all. But it clear that will not happen.
Sure Belgrade can put out a platform with red lines. But that would not be entertained by Pristina. So then what. The problem here is the inflexibility of the Albanians. They have America behind them and a few western nations of some influence, so they can act tough and talk tough. But its not getting them anywhere. The situation is a frozen conflict and Serbia has enough support from big players such as Russia, China, India, Brazil. And try pushing Spain into recognising Kosovo...!!! A frozen conflict suits nobody but is a lot more harmful to Pristina than Belgrade. Belgrade has UN recognition, investments galore, visa free travel, etc. But Albanians are in a black hole and its getting deeper.
My fear is that another armed conflict is on the way. And I would not give the Albanians much hope there. They could lose everything and find themselves back in Tirana with shattered dreams of the "greater Albania".

I don’t understand this conflict? All people in the region are Yugoslavs and have a history of peace and brotherhood and intermarriage. Siptars and Turks and Serbs have lived together for centuries and are essentially the same people? Why not just create a new Yugoslavia with the capital in Belgrade?

Heaven on.......I agree that Serbia is not Switzerland. I get the impression that its a lot better in Belgrade than in Pristina. Visa free travel throughout Europe (UK apart) with Serbian passport, nowhere with Albanian or Kosovo passport. Wages are nothing to write home about in Serbia, but at least there is work and wages. Mass unemployment in Kosovo. And nothing is going to change for a long time. The stubborn Albanians would rather starve than negotiate for a compromise. They seem to want all of Kosovo, other parts of Serbia proper as well, to put 1000s on trial for some crime or other and Serbia to accept all that and recognise them. Do you honestly think it will happen??
